Uphill Manor, "the country house in town",  "one of the most unusual urban properties in the country” as it has been variously described. In the heart of the village of Uphill, 5 minutes walk to the beach and golf course and 20 minutes walk from town. The Manor sits in a totally private location with 18 acres, comprising of lawns with many mature trees, ancient woodlands and fields, with several ponies. There is even a Victorian walled garden (can be viewed by request) with chickens and ducks! At the bottom of the garden there are several beehives producing delicious honey. At the front of the house, overlooking the manicured lawn and woodlands beyond, is a large open patio adjoining the dining room, as well as a covered furnished area. A barbecue, pizza oven and fire pit are all provided for your enjoyment of outdoor living at its best. Should you want a Hot Tub for your stay we have a contact who will bring one to The Manor, set it up and get it ready for you. We will make a service charge for this, to cover the cost of water and electricity. The Manor has parking for many cars, away from the road, and an EV charging point which can be used by arrangement; we request that payment for this be made before your departure. The garden room contains equipment for various games and pastimes such as croquet, badminton, outdoor table tennis, volleyball, darts and and boules.
